bacon on cutting board


I’m very proud of this bacon, it is the first flavor I created adding hard alcohol. I cured my own bacon for a year or two and wanted to find the perfect match. As I stared into my liquor cabinet  search for inspiration my eyes stopped on one of my favorite Colorado bourbons. I knew that minute it was a match made in heaven. After six months for trying different curing methods and friends and family eating tens of pounds of bacon what I had envisioned was here.
